Walsingham Academy Invite held at the Aquatic Center on Fort Eustis January 27, 2017

Things went rather swimmingly in the pool at the Walsingham Academy Invite where they honored their 2017 senior class for their all accomplishments. Walsingham Academy put together another strong performance meet at Fort Eustis which were held at the Aquatic Center on January 27, 2017. Norfolk Collegiate girls 200 yards medley relay set the tone for the meet when they tracked down the field to win the 200 yard medley relay, Walsingham Academy boys with their win in the boys 200 yards medley relay. Brooke Walthall, a junior stood out for Norfolk Collegiate in her two events at beginning of the meet, beating the field in the girls individual 200 yards freestyle and on one of the 200 yards medley relay legs. With the VISAA swim meet a few weeks away, both the Walsingham Academy and Norfolk Collegiate are making strides to be in the best position possible for what’s ahead.
