A third quarter rally by the Lake Taylor High School girls’ basketball team came up big in Tuesday’s won over King’s Fork 57-38 in the Class 4 semifinals. Defense continues to be strong for The Lake Taylor High School as the boys’ basketball team beat Huguenot to return to the state finals 84-73 in the Class 4 semifinals. Class 6 The Bruins of Western Branch High School boys’ basketball team earned a spot to the state championship game after defeating Cox 74-65 in overtime. Defending state champion Princess Anne girls basketball team not afraid to set its sights on repeat. Class 5 Girls Princess Anne 79, Highland Springs 48.
