Westen Branch will play Grassfield Monday in the Monitor-Merrimac Conference finals. Ben Holtzclaw (WB) and Noah Warack (GF) picked up wins in singles play with Holtzclaw beating Zack Hill 6-1, 6-1 and Warack beating Julius Gavin 7-6(3), 6-1. In doubles play, Warack and Michaud rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 over the Granby duo, while Holtzclaw and Keverline beat Gavin and Johnson 6-4, 6-3. On the girls side, Maria Cetrone was eliminated from singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 loss to Hailey Christian of Grassfield, but bounced back with Davina Long to beat Brown/McCormick doubles team 6-0, 7-6, (3).
