16Mar, 2021
Warwick defeated Woodside to break a losing skid that dated back to 12 years, winning 21-6 in the season-opener for both Peninsula District schools on Tuesday at Todd Stadium. It was kind of like an old-fashioned, run the ball, play physical, come off the ball type of game. The Raiders had some tough football nights at Todd stadium. Raiders came out focused as Warwick quarterback Derick Nixon engineered several drive for touchdown. For the seniors, this is ultimately a memory that they can hang on to and appreciate after all the adversity they have endured and hard work that they have put in at Warwick High. Friday night, the Raiders are set to continue their journey as they host the Heritage at Todd Stadium. on March 19 at 7:00 p.m.
