It’s never too early to start planning for the high school football season. You can almost smell the grass stains from preseason camp throughout Hampton Roads. Helmets and pads are all fitted for another highly anticipated season of VHSL high school football. And if history of high school football in the Hampton Roads area has taught us anything, it’s that dozens of new athletes will emerge as breakout talents during the 2019 regular season and beyond. We’re a mere two weeks from the kickoff of the 2019 VA high school football season. As we inch closer to the season, as coaches going to give their preseason prep talk such a, “student success is our highest priority”. Some of these players, you may already know or this may be the first time you’re hearing of them under the Friday night lights. Every year, there’s a player that captures the collective college football imagination.
