How virtual coaching is effective during the Coronavirus Pandemic
In the time of the coronavirus virus pandemic in Hampton Roads, coaches are using a Virtual Leadership Coaching Program. Virtual coaching uses advanced online and mobile technology with lesson plans and instructional workouts to assist the coach in effectively coaching and improving athletes’ performance during these difficult times. The coaches give virtual instructions and offer encouraging remarks and a few reminders about the objective of the workout to evaluate their athleticism. Coach Dotson of Woodside High School and Coach Rhodes of Warhill High School are teaming up to take advantage of the Hudl program, while Coach Corey Hairston of Warwick High School is using the PS4 streaming broadcast to uplift their spirits and train student athletes virtually. The community is proud of the coaching staff of Hampton Roads for what they are doing for their community.
