September 29th girls volleyball game between the Heritage Hurricanes and the Woodside Wolverines was phenomenal! Both teams put up a great fight. Heritage started off strong with number 14 Chianti Jordon giving strong power shots. The communication on and off of the court was impeccable! Their team spirit was at a high level despite the loss. Hurricanes number 20, Morgan Ryan, through in some pointers for the athletes while sitting out on the bench. Then went into the game and dominated with nearly perfect formed sets. Throughout the game spectators could see the determination in both teams faces. The Woodside Wolverines number 21 Talia Williams, had plenty of floor action in the game. She showed determination and willpower throughout the entire game. The entire team showed amazing teamwork and skill. – Story by Marli Peters.
