Woodside and Western Branch competed at Woodside High School for a conference game on Tuesday, May 5, 2015. It was a scorching 86 degrees, but despite this, both teams played a wonderful game showing good sportsmanship throughout. The first point was scored by #3 Jordan Mason on Western Branch’s baseball team. Woodside’s first point was scored by #12 Seth Woodard. The final point was earned by Western Branch’s #7 Conner Rhem. The game was concluded with the victorious Western Branch team still ranking as “Number One in the State of Virginia”.
