The Woodside High School boys’ basketball team has a new coach — again. The hiring of Stefan Welch was approved earlier this past spring to replace two coaches in two years. Coach Welch has miles to go, but his coaches journey is off to a good start. Welch said he’s excited with what has been accomplished with the team so far during two preseason scrimmages and also for what his players can produce over the rest of the season. “I think this coaching thing is my calling”, Coach Welch.
