Patrick Henry Patriot defeats Great Bridge Wildcats in fifth set to win 2018 VHSL Volleyball Class 1-4 Boys Combined Championship held at the College of William & Marry Kaplan Arena. Patrick Henry’s head coach Michael Townsend said. “Hats off to Wildcats. They’re a great team.” Patrick Henry Patriot began the night with a competitive 25-22 first set victory. In the fifth and final set, Patrick Henry Patriot’s serve and kills got even better, and Patriot ‘s stars did just enough to put the Patrick Henry over the top and becoming State Class 1-4 Boys Combined Champions. CW Mcllhenny had 2 ace. 18 kills and Jarrett Carrano ending the game with 4 ace. 21 kills.
Senior-Captain Ace Backer of Great Bridge, supported his team throughout the season; he encourages collaboration on a great season as runners-up in the champions.
