Coach Johnson of Spotlighthigh sat down with Western Branch’s Head Coach Claude Toukene. After bringing the Bruins their 25th title in 14 years, Coach Toukene talked about the emotions of being more than just a coach to his student-athletes. Coach Claude Toukene announced he will leave after the 2018 school year in order to become the head coach at Bryant & Stratton in Virginia Beach. The Boys and Girls Bruins gave coach Claude Toukene two more VHSL State Championships at Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton, Virginia on March 24th at the 2018 VHSL Class 6 State Indoor T & F Championships.
