Some of the best high school golfers on the peninsula are swinging their clubs again. Gloucester’s Dukes are looking forward to facing off against the peninsula’s best golfers as they chase a 5A title this season. Gloucester High School took first place in the peninsula district tournament held at Gloucester Country Club Course on Wednesday afternoon. Cameron Baker and Nathan Gross (GHS) was tied for second after shooting 73. Hunter Martin of GHS led the field with 3-under a score of 69. The next peninsula tournament will be held at Sleepy Hole Golf Course in Suffolk, VA August 14, 2017.
