NFL Players Support Their Communities with Free Youth Football Camps
15Jun, 2019
Although NFL players have much to prepare for as the upcoming 2019-2020 season approaches, many players chose to spend their down time giving back to their respective communities with football camps. Hampton Roads players used their skill and their platform as professional athletes to help others in their community. The B.W. Webb Football Camp was designed to provide younger players with a solid foundation of the fundamentals of the game. B.W. Webb was the host for a lot of youth football campers at his fifth annual football camp. This is where B.W. Webb’s legend was initially forged. Before he took the field of a NFL team, he was at a youth football camp as a little boy with sports dreams. He greeted former teachers with a hug. He coached and cheered on campers with a high five. He thanked volunteer coaches with a handshake. “Dream big now” was the message that B.W. Webb left with his campers.
