Jamestown High School boys’ tennis Coach Bob Artis is passionate, focused, and display attention to detail to every tennis match. The doubles match gave him goose bumps as he watched his team perform. Coach Artis is known for his attention to details, his work ethic and good relations with his players. “I’m in a great position because I get to see these young men grow up and become outstanding students and citizens,” Artis said. Coach Artis is passionate about reaching out to the Jamestown Eagles nation and helping the youth to make good choices as a teenager. Coach Artis shares his experiences, knowledge, and practical insights to help others. Jamestown found a way to give Coach Artis his 201st career victory in dramatic style with a triumph over Cape Henry Collegiate on Friday, April 21, 2017. Although Cape Henry Collegiate did not come out successful against the Jamestown Eagles, Head Coach John Hill feels his team is still on schedule to perform well at their TCIS conference tournament in the near future.
